AVG Antivirus is a range of antivirus software developed by Avg Company, Avg Technologies. AVG Anti-Virus (formerly known as AVG, Anti-Virus Guard) The AVG brand is Grissoft's first anti-virus guard product, launched in the Czech Republic in 1992, with the first AVG license in Germany.
